Cornrows with a very short coily afro

Description

Short, black African-American hair is twisted into a multitude of spunky coils just about even in length throughout the head. The field of upraised coils is broken only by a section on one side of the head. Here, a wedge-shaped area starting at the hairline just above the ear and ending in a point almost on the crown is made up of flat cornrows. Small intricate braids leave clean lines of scalp between them, and at some point, they are crisscrossed.
