The incredible damage one does to their hair in their teenage years is undeniable as they get older; tight ponytails that eventually lead to hairline hair loss, fried hair with bleach, perms and flat irons, color damage and hair brushing knots. Of course new hair grows out but the older we get the slower it grows.
When it comes to teen hair styles, surely you’ve heard your mother say ‘just because all the kids are doing it doesn’t mean you have to’. She might not have been referring to your hairstyle but she very well could have. The truth is, just because all the other teens are wearing a certain hair style, doesn’t mean the same style will suit you just as well. This is by far the most ideal hairstyle for anyone who has a demanding job, children, a busy lifestyle and doesn’t live with a personal stylist. A low maintenance hairstyle is one that requires minimal effort to care for. If you’re going to be late for school at least you know your hair’s not responsible for it. It also allows a teenager to do what teenagers do best, have fun and enjoy an active lifestyle without having to stress about their hair.
