Spiky cropped short hairstyle for African American women

Aggressive spikes and layers define this short hairstyle. Straight, dark brunette hair is cropped to the nape, where the hairline is neat and straight. The upper sections, however, are where all the action happens. A fringe of blunt-cut, highly uneven layers cover the forehead. The line then curves as it goes down the side of the head, where feathered spikes gradually longer, ending with a slice of hair covering the ear and reaching the neck. Blunt-cut layers are echoed in small section on top of the head, while some sections on the crown are feathered and break out in spikes. Overall, this hairstyle has a lot of movement and points that command attention.
