Mix of cornrows and afro for African American men

Tightly curled, dark brown, African-American hair straddles two looks in this men's hairstyle. From the hairline to about 5-6 inches in, hair is sectioned diagonally and tightly coiled into cornrows. At a certain point, the rows stop, and the ends, which are still a good 4-5 inches in length, are combed up and out into an afro. Prior to styling, hair has been trimmed uniformly, so that the afro has an even outline all over.
