Many might remember punk hairstyles from the early to late 1980s where they were hugely popular but in fact, punk hairstyles date back to the 1970s where people began exploring with funky haircut and color combinations. Although every hairstyle has a personality attached to it, there isn’t much that can compete with the punk rock hairstyle in terms of self expression. Influenced from various cultures and movements, to this day it still thrives among a selection of teenagers and young adults and has become more of a subculture than simply a hairstyle.
