BEER FOR HAIR AND OTHER TRICKS THAT WORK
By Rachel.  Posted in Hairstyle Updates

Whether your response is ‘ew, beer’ or ‘mmm beer’, the reaction to ones hair is a universal appeal. I used to hear all this so called ‘malarkey’ putting beer in my hair to add volume but only a couple of weeks ago at a friends house did I put myself to the test to explore this rubbish. As it turned out, this rubbish was trueish and not only did I love the hair bounce, my hair didn’t reek like my most dreaded alcohol stench. How does this work? Because beer is acidy, it cleans your hair by removing previously used product residue. The Hops and Yeast help to swell the hair shaft and plump the cuticle, which adds volume. The trick is to put a bottle (yes a whole bottle of it) once you’re done shampooing and massage beer into every strand -leave it on for  Click here to read more ...

Hair Not Meant For You
By Rachel.  Posted in Hairstyle Updates

Ever see a piece of clothing that looks spectacular on everyone else and say MAN I’VE GOT TO HAVE IT!!! You try it on and it sucks!!! You can’t wear a bra with it and Heaven knows you need a bra...it makes you look too stumpy and you’re already the butt of every short joke...the color is hideous no matter what light you’re standing in...The list goes on and on. The same can be said for hairstyles. Every face shape, hair quality and skin complexion is unique. This would explain why every style isn’t meant for every body. If however, you see a style, cut or color you absolutely have to have, there may be ways you can meet in the middle and find a happy medium.  Click here to read more ...

Sanrizz has become a household name in our office recently. It isn’t a surprise since each collection delivers something special and unique. In the DIVINA 2010 collection; avant garde meets a touch of retro. The cuts are sharp, the styles perfectly defined and with fall right around the corner, color is key. Delicious coconut browns, light cappuccinos and brown mahogany are Sanrizz’s colors of choice for this collection.  Click here to read more ...

MEN Get Funky With Sanrizz
By Samantha.  Posted in Hairstyle Updates

The great thing about hair is that it's so easily changeable; the bad thing about men, is that they're not! BUT with a little inspiration, any man can funk up his hairstyle with a little influence from Sanrizz. Known for making drab into fab, Sanrizz takes what could be an otherwise average look and brings it to life with spicy cuts and original styles creating hair that even men off the runway (aka YOUR man) can rock with confidence.  Click here to read more ...

What the heck am I referring to? Hair products of course and if you can use only one for the rest of your life, I'd strongly recommend MOROCCANOIL which is made for every hair type but treats crazy, broken, damaged, frizzy hair with a little extra much needed love.  Click here to read more ...

I was recently given some Ole Henriksen (pronounced ‘Ooh-la’, excuse me!) facial products to try from my favorite beauty store, SEPHORA, and in all honesty, I’d never heard of him before. I, being a sample queen was overly excited to try them out; because upon my research of his products, I’d heard only incredible things. Blog after blog, review after review, fantastic declarations about the Ole Henriksen Micro/Mini Peel System, African Red Tea and the Three Little Wonders treatment began to emerge. My mission was to discover if all of these claims were true!  Click here to read more ...

No word of a lie, I loved everything and even though I wanted to give some away...I COULDN’T!!! That is so bad of me – I’m ashamed...NOT. There is something about Urban Decay that brings me riiiight back to childhood and I absolutely adore their products and all the fun and free feelings that come along with it!  Click here to read more ...
